Sunday, April 7th – Katina Makris Visit

As a reminder:  This weekend Katina Makris is visiting the Triangle area – She’ll be here on Sunday and Monday.  You can find all of the information under the event tab at the top of the website.  Come on Sunday to meet up with us after the end of the presentation to find out more about the NC Lyme Letter Campaign.

North Carolina Lyme Disease Foundation (if you have trouble linking up with their website from this link – go to http://www.nclyme.net) brings Katina Makris to the Triangle!

Katina Makris, author of the award winning Out of the Woods: Healing Lyme – Body, Mind and Spirit will be speaking about Lyme Disease symptoms, chronic illness, diagnostics, traditional treatment supplemented with holistic care, and healing. Katina endured a 10 year bout with Lyme Disease. It took 5 years to get a proper diagnosis so she understands how devastating this disease can be. Katina is a graduate of Duke University and the Stillpoint School of Integrative Life Healing and is a Certified Intuitive Healer, former newspaper health columnist and past board member of the Council of Homeopathic Certification.

An advertisement, press release and article written by Katina will run in the Triangle’s “Natural Awakenings” magazine in the March issue, coming out soon.
