The Ripple Effect

Recently, I posted about making waves.  Last year about this time, I began selling We Fight Lyme Together bracelets to help raise funds so I could personally raise awareness in North Carolina.  A college friend purchased some and I sent her information about Lyme Disease.  Today, I was tagged in the photo above on Facebook.  Her 1st year nursing students decided to do a booth on Tick Borne Infections for Southwestern Community College in the mountains of North Carolina.   Amazing.  As a NATCAPLYME leader said earlier – our baby steps are turning into toddler steps.

Thank you to the 1st year  nursing students and thank you Southwestern Community College for hosting the health fair so that others can raise awareness for Lyme and other tick borne infections.
