Equine Health Series presents Under Our Skin
This screening of Under our Skin will be apart of “Vector-Borne Disease Awareness Week.” Prior to the screening, there will be a brief slideshow talking about the basics of what a vector-borne disease is. Light snacks (popcorn and soda/drinks) will be available. This is a free event and space will be available first come first serve

The Equine Health Series will host a Q&A Panel for Vector-Borne Disease Awareness Week. Come with questions for our speakers Dr. Ashley Banes, DVM and Dr. Jay Levine, DVM, MPH.
The Research Presentation on March 26th at 6:30
The Equine Health Series will host Dr. Barbara Qurollo presenting her latest research entitled “Tick-Borne Coinfections: Putting Two and Two Together”. Please come out and learn more about the direction of this research field and the developments of an industry leader.
One Health Night on March 27th at 6:30
Equine Health Series presents Vector Borne Infection Awareness Week. The Equine Health Series is hosting Dr. Cheryl Stroud, Executive Director of One Health Commission, as she speaks on the importance of One Health, the initiatives in North Carolina as well as ways to get involved. The NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine’s One Health Club will also be present to speak on their perspectives of One Health and its role at the CVM.
Game Night on March 28th at 6:30After a week of interesting and educational events, come out and enjoy some games and refreshments while taking advantage of the opportunity to mingle with students, members of the community and professionals.
